Hotel Update:

ESCYPAA 8 attendee,

We are rapidly approaching the convention which is such an exciting time for Host committee members, Advisory council and you; the attendee. Because of all the amazing work by the committee and YPAAs all over the country we have sold out our room block! But…. We’ve been able to secure a handful of more rooms and may be able to continue doing so in limited numbers as they sell. If you’re still looking to book follow the instructions below, if there’s an issue with the link email one of the following contacts below!

We completely understand if something comes up and you cannot attend and as sad as that might be, for our hotel attrition and commitment as a committee we ask that you do not directly cancel your reservation with the hotel and reach out to us via email (hotels.escypaa8@gmail.com / outreach.escypaa8@gmail.com) or on the ESCYPAA Facebook page so we can instead transfer the room to another attendee waiting on a potential reservation.

Booking Instruction

Go to http://www.hiltonlongisland.com/ and do the following:

Click the big dates at the top of the page and select the dates of the convention: October 28 – October 30, 2022. You will only need a credit card to hold the reservation and will not be charged until you check in.**
Click “1 Room, 1 Guest” and adjust appropriately. You will not be charged for additional guests.
Click “Special Rates.” Under “Group Code,” enter ESCY. You will be charged the special rate of $159 per night.
Click “Check Rooms and Rates”
Choose a single room or a double room. Click “Quick Book” to proceed to checkout.

**In order for the group code to work online you must only put the dates above. If you would like to extend your stay up to 3 days before or after the conference for the group rate you must call our front desk directly at 631-577-1537**

BY CAR:

The major East/West bound thoroughfares are:
THE LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY (US 495 OR “THE LIE”) *PREFERRED ROUTE*
Take to Exit 49 North (Route 110)
The hotel is located on the North West corner of the intersection of the LIE and Route 110, on your left hand side
THE NORTHERN STATE PARKWAY
Travel to Exit 40 South (Route 110)
Drive approximately 2 miles to the hotel on your right side, just before the LIE
THE SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY
Travel to Exit 32 North (Route 110)
Proceed north for 5 miles. The hotel is on your left, just after the LIE

BY RAIL:

The commuter rail line The Long Island Railroad extends from Penn Station (Amtrak hub NYP) across Long Island. Take the LIRR to Farmingdale station (Closest to Hotel) or Huntington Station
Car service from Farmingdale station to the hotel is approximately $10 and takes 5 minutes
Car service from Huntington station to the Hotel is approximately $20 and takes 15 minutes

BY AIR:

Three major and two regional airports serve the convention.

LAGUARDIA (LGA) AND KENNEDY (JFK)
Car service from these 2 airports to the hotel is approximately $150
NEWARK INTERNATIONAL (EWR) (IN NEW JERSEY)
Car service from Newark International to the hotel is approximately $230
REPUBLIC (FRG) *CLOSEST TO HOTEL*
Car service to the hotel is approximately $20 and takes 10 min
MACAUTHUR (ISP)
Car service to the hotel is approximately $50 and takes 45 min

BY SEA:

It is possible to utilize ferry services to cross the Long Island Sound from Connecticut rather than driving through New York City, this avoids traffic and can be a fun and scenic ride. The ferry service can accommodate cars as well as pedestrians. If you choose to take the ferry with your car please make advance reservations as space is limited.

There is a bus (S92} that can take you to the Greenport Long Island Rail Road station where a train can take you to Ronkonkoma where a bus (Patchogue) can take you to Huntington Station. Then see “by rail” above
